Gelukkig heeft een aantal charmante en historisch interessante 18<sup>e<\/sup>-eeuwse kenmerken de tand des tijds doorstaan. De gevelopbouw, de metselverbanden en de kozijndetailleringen vormen het uitgangspunt voor een volledige reconstructie.<\/p>\n<p>Op de begane grond komt een winkelruimte; daarboven vier maisonnettes die vanaf een patio op het dak van de winkelruimte te bereiken zijn. Deze patio markeert de scheiding tussen voor- en achterhuis, een belangrijk kenmerk van die bouwperiode.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]Omdat het pand op nummer 17 te laag blijkt om een woning op de verdieping te realiseren, is een list nodig. Die komt er in overleg met de monumentencommissie in de vorm van een verhoogde kroonlijst. Daardoor ontstaat alsnog de benodigde ruimte.<\/p>\n<p>Het pand op nr. 19 krijgt een nieuwe plint die de winkel en de maisonnettes verbindt met de grondgebonden woningen. De verblijfsruimten van de grondgebonden woningen liggen aan de straatkant.
